Yah, I saw an announcement about that while verifying links in an interview with Vin Suprynowicz and Scott Bieser. I read the book a while ago, and am looking forward to the movie!
Indeed, it is "thrilling," and your Star Wars "babe" has a major role in it. Perhaps I will come to have a better appreciation of her with this movie.
I've not read "V for Vendetta," but have "Watchmen" (which I read years ago) in the house somewhere. I'm going to have to get "V."
From this poster and the synopsis at the web site, "V" looks like a mix of Zorro (Power or Langella) and Matrix. That would be a great mix.
With the Matrix credentials of the Wachowskis and Joel Silver it is very, very promising. Nov. 4 should be a special day.
Actually, after thinking about Sunni's comment, although the look is definitely similar to Zorro, the mix might be better described as being one of The Black Arrow and Matrix.
Tom, we have the book; I'd be happy to lend it to you.
