Phooey to Max Raskin and his slurs against Food Network cutie-pie Rachael Ray. I finally caught one of Ray's programs during the holiday, and I'm hooked on this gorgeous gastronomic goddess. Thanks, Max, for turning me on to the delectable Ms. Ray.

Rachael Ray as embodiment of the state? That's ridiculously contrived.
I like her smile- it's a lot better than Raskin's snotty and foul attitude.
I'm thinking Raskin was attempting satire and something went horribly wrong. Sometimes you just have to hang a "don't try this at home" sign on humor.

She does have a pretty smile, but I can see, in some photos, a bit of Jokeresque curve to it. Maybe that occurs in the less-natural shots? (I dunno; I don't have a TV and didn't know her until reading this entry the other day.)
I wonder if my candy sales would pick up if I had a photo like that on my site ... Oh, wait, I don't look anything like that. sigh ...
